How to make it

  • In saucepan, bring the milk and butter to a boil
  • Cream the sugar, eggs, cornstarch, flour and vanilla extract
  • Add some of the hot milk to the creamed misture and then pour it into the pot and heat gently stirring constantly until it thickens
  • Do Not Boil
  • Pour filling into pie crust and dust lightly with cinnamon
  • Cool in refrigerator until set

    A very nice change of pace from cheesecake. The only change I made was using a chocolate crust, for personal taste. The tart got rave reviews at dinner last night. Thanks for sharing!!
