My Grandfather & Father used to make these...I still have a jar in my refrigerator that's 25 years old! And although it sounds horrible to eat something so old, they are still delicious...Better than ever! 2 or 3 gives you quite a buzz! :)

These are fun. My Aunt used to make a similar treat with Wisconsin Door County cherries, but she would can them. After 6 months or so, they had a real bite to them!! When she passed away we all took a jar of her leftovers to enjoy.
