Vodka Cherries
From annieamie 16 years agoIngredients
- 1 very large jar of marashino cherries shopping list
- 1 bottle of quality vodka shopping list
How to make it
- Drain your jar of cherries.
- Pour the vodka into the jar to the top.
- Replace the jar top and seal well.
- Place the cherries into your refrigerator for at least three days and serve.
- *These make a great Hostess gift or holiday gift for those who enjoy having alcoholic beverages. You can save the leftover syrup to make cakes or cupcakes. You can even use the juice to make virgin beverages such as "Shirley Temples" or add the juice to 7Up or Ginger Ale.
- I have purchased huge jars of cherries at stores such as Smart N' Final, let the vodka sit in the jar for a month and then spoon out the cherries into one pint canning jars and handed them out as gifts. My friends who drink and received these always asked for more!
