Ingredients
- 3 egg whites
- 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
- pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 4 drops green food coloring
- 4 drops mint extract
- 1 pkg miniature semisweet chocolate chips (6 ounces)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Prepare 2 cookie sheets (grease and lightly flour).
- Beat egg whites, cream of tartar and salt until eggs are foamy.
- Add sugar 2 tablespoons at a time, beating after each addition.
- Beat until soft peaks form.
- Sitr in food coloring and mint extract.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets, keeping them 1 inch apart.
- Place in preheated oven and turn off heat.
- Let set in oven at least 8 hours or up to 12 hours.
