Roans Perfect Chocolate Chip Biscuits

- 1/2 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 1 cup packed brown sugar/demerara sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup margarine shopping list
- 2 medium eggs shopping list
- 2 1/2 teaspoons real vanilla extract shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon milk shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon water shopping list
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda/baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips shopping list
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, margarine and sugars.
- Now...To the bowl add in the other wet ingredients and mix to combine.
- Next mix in the flour, bicarbonate of soda/baking soda, salt, chocolate and the nuts. In this order.
- For the best texture...make golf ball sized balls and place on an light weight, ungreased baking sheet. CHILL for a day in the fridge.
- The next day flatten slightly with your hand.
- Bake at 325 for 15-16 minutes.
- Makes 24. That's about 1 serving. : ) No sharing allowed.
