This post is for my friend Mary W (92 years old). She recently had a seizure and was having a problem getting back to eating. How about eatting 750 fattening pecan cookies? She also loves bacon and learning to walk again with a walker, it is too hard to cook bacon. Read more So she got cookies and bacon and is quite happy. See less
Ingredients
- See Internationally Acclaimed cookies or JJ’s Pecan cookies. Ideally for show, cookies shaped like a pecans are picture perfect. But eating the long cookies is a little messy. I now make little balls about 3/4 inch in diameter. They are one clean bite. Highly addictive! Cook bacon using Microwaved bacon recipe. It comes out flat, grease travels to paper along with the salt they pack in each piece. 1 lb of bacon cooks down to 3.5-4 ounces of cooked bacon. So at this weight, you can now eat 1/2 – 1 lb every morning! shopping list
How to make it
- Make cookies using the recipes listed. How long does it take to make 750 bites. The dough is in one of my big plastic bowls, 5 cookie trays at the ready. Get a glass of wine, keep the bottle close. Have a wet cloth at the ready. Sit back in the recliner, pinch a bit of dough and form a ball. Start with Wheel of Fortune at 7PM. Then Extra or whatever at 7:30. Next American Idol at 8 and ending at 9:30. Another short show, CSI or whatever at 10PM. Then Letterman until 12. Jimmy Kimmel or favorite at 1 and done by 1:30 AM. Stop! Wine bottle is empty, fingers quit making balls and started making little people and animals. Cook the next day. Too much fun. Enjoy Mary W. Eat fun stuff all the time!
