Pineapple Teriyaki Beef

- 2 pound boneless beef top round steak cut 1-1/2" thick shopping list
- 8 ounce can crushed pineapple juice packed shopping list
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped green onion shopping list
- 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce shopping list
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger shopping list
- 1 teaspoon bottled minced garlic shopping list
How to make it
- Trim fat from steak and place in a plastic bag set in a shallow dish.
- Drain pineapple reserving juice then cover and chill pineapple for sauce.
- In small bowl stir together reserved juice, green onion, teriyaki sauce, ginger and garlic.
- Pour over steak and seal bag then marinate in refrigerator up to 24 hours turning occasionally.
- Drain steak reserving marinade then place steak on unheated rack of a broiler pan.
- Broil 5" from heat for 20 minutes turning once.
- In small saucepan combine reserved marinade and pineapple.
- Bring to boiling and reduce heat then simmer uncovered for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat then cut steak into serving size pieces.
- Spoon sauce over steak.
