Pineapple Teriyaki Beef Recipe
PINEAPPLE TERIYAKI BEEF This is a recipe I obtained from a church friend who is a fabulous cook.

Ingredients
  • 2 pound boneless beef top round steak cut 1-1/2" thick
  • 8 ounce can crushed pineapple juice packed
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped green onion
  • 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon bottled minced garlic

Directions
  1. Trim fat from steak and place in a plastic bag set in a shallow dish.
  2. Drain pineapple reserving juice then cover and chill pineapple for sauce.
  3. In small bowl stir together reserved juice, green onion, teriyaki sauce, ginger and garlic.
  4. Pour over steak and seal bag then marinate in refrigerator up to 24 hours turning occasionally.
  5. Drain steak reserving marinade then place steak on unheated rack of a broiler pan.
  6. Broil 5" from heat for 20 minutes turning once.
  7. In small saucepan combine reserved marinade and pineapple.
  8. Bring to boiling and reduce heat then simmer uncovered for 5 minutes.
  9. Remove from heat then cut steak into serving size pieces.
  10. Spoon sauce over steak.
