Mr Hares Carrot Cake Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup oil

1 1/4 cups honey

3 eggs(extra large)

2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour

1/2 cup wheat germ

1 tablespoon baking powder

2 teaspoons cinnamon

1 teaspoon nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 cups grated raw carrots

1 cup walnuts(optional)

1 cup raisins(optional)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F .

Grease & flour 10-inch tube pan

Cream oil, honey & eggs

Sift together dry ingredients

Add grated carrots to creamed mixture.

Add dry sifted mixture and mix well

Add walnuts and raisins

Bake for 1 hour or until done.
