Elvis Banana Bread

- 3 cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 3 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 2cups mashed over-ripe bananas(5-6 medium bananas) shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup cooking oil shopping list
- 1 pkg 12oz chocolate chips shopping list
- 1 pkg 12oz peanut butter chips shopping list
- TOPPING shopping list
- 2 tablespoon sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon mixed shopping list
- 1 tablespoon butter set aside shopping list
How to make it
- Grease the bottoms and side of 2 8x4x2-inch loaf pans. set aside.
- In a medium mixing bowl combine flour,baking powder,baking soda,cinnamon make a well in the center set aside.
- In another bowl combine the eggs, bananas, sugar,cooking oil.
- Add egg mixture to the dry. STIR JUST UNTIL MOIST (batter will be lumpy) set aside.
- In another bowl add BOTH packages of chips add 2 tablespoons of flour and toss the chips until all chips are covered with flour. *THIS WILL KEEP THE CHIPS SUSPENDED IN YOUR BREAD AND KEEPS THEM FROM SINKING TO THE BOTTOM.
- Turn chips and flour into mixture just until covered DO NOT OVER MIX
- it's ok to see a little of the flour .
- Pour into prepared loaf pans Bake @350 for 40 or 50 min bread will be dark brown.
- After bread is removed from oven melt the tablespoon of butter by rubbing on top of the loafs and sprinkle with the topping mixture. serve warm or cold!
