Cream Cake

- 1 yellow or white cake mix shopping list
- 1 (14oz) can sweetened condensed milk shopping list
- 1/3 c caramel ice cream topping shopping list
- 2 c heavy whipping cream shopping list
- 1/4 c powdered sugar shopping list
- 1 t vanilla shopping list
- 1/3 c sliced almonds shopping list
How to make it
- Prepare cake mix according to package directions for 13x9" pan; cool completely in pan.
- Place sweetened condensed milk in large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on med. power stirring occasionally for 4 minutes. Reduce to med-low and cook, stirring every few minutes for 16 to 24 min or until thick and a light caramel color. Stir in caramel topping. Cool for 15 minutes. Spread on cooled cake. Cool completely.
- Beat whipping cream in large bowl until soft peaks form. Add sugar and vanilla; beat until stiff peaks form. Spread over cake, sprinkle with almonds.
- Refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours.
- Refrigerate any leftovers
- You can switch topping flavors and cake flavors; choc cake mix-choc topping, spice cake with the caramel. Pineapple topping sounds
- yummy but haven't tried it. Almost anything goes.
