Ingredients

How to make it

  • Peel the onion;
  • Cut into the onion from the top in a wedge-shaped pattern, but not all the way through, leaving the bottom portion intact;
  • Stuff slices of butter into the cuts;
  • Place onion on a piece of foil and season;
  • Wrap up the onion in the foil;
  • Bake on a hot grill for 20-30 minutes.
  • (You can bake it in the oven if you're not firing up the grill.)

    I saw Paula Deen make these and just had to try them. She also put 1 bouillon cube in the onion with the butter. Very yummy!
