Grilled Or Baked Sweet Onions Recipe

Ingredients

One Vidalia (or other sweet) onion

Butter

Salt, pepper, chopped garlic - your choice

Heavy duty foil

Directions

Peel the onion;

Cut into the onion from the top in a wedge-shaped pattern, but not all the way through, leaving the bottom portion intact;

Stuff slices of butter into the cuts;

Place onion on a piece of foil and season;

Wrap up the onion in the foil;

Bake on a hot grill for 20-30 minutes.

(You can bake it in the oven if you're not firing up the grill.)
