Lace Cookies Recipe
These little goodies are great with afternoon tea.

Ingredients
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup quick oats(uncooked)
  • 2 Tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • pinch of salt

Directions
  1. Mix all ingredients and chill
  2. Roll into little balls about the size of a marble
  3. Place on cookie sheet FAR apart as they melt down as they cook
  4. Bake at 375 degrees for about 7 minutes
  5. Makes about 4 dozen.

I made these when my kids were little but they had a different name.

These sound good and easy which is "my cup of tea". By the way, I drink a lot of tea every day and I will have Lace Cookies with my cup today.


Yea! Mom had this but only wrote down the ingredients... I still need a little direction, and since she's at "The House", I can't ask her!
