Ingredients
  • 3 or 4 cups self rising flour
  • 4 tbsp. shortening
  • milk

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Cut shortening into flour.
  3. Add milk slowly til the right consistency. (NOT TO THICK OR TO THIN)
  4. You want the dough to be light not packy.
  5. Roll out by hand with flour on your hands.
  6. Bake in a greased iron pan for the best crusted bottoms till bread becomes lightly browned.
