Blue Grass Chicken

- 2 whole boneless skinless chicken breasts shopping list
- 3-5 cloves of fresh garlic shopping list
- 1 lb of smokey bacon shopping list
- 3 tblsp white wine shopping list
- 2 tblsp butter or margarine shopping list
- 1 package of fresh button or baby portabello mushrooms shopping list
- 16 oz of sour cream shopping list
- dash of lawry or seasoned salt shopping list
- dash of black pepper shopping list
- 1 tblsp of fresh or dried parsley shopping list
How to make it
- Start a pan on medium heat and add bacon, then clean and slice chicken to 3/4 thick slices and set aside
- remove the cooked bacon and set aside, season chicken lightly with salt, not to much because bacon is very salty. Then add the chicken to the same pan leaving some of the bacon grease in pan
- cook chicken till brown or no longer pink
- then add white wine and garlic to deglaze pan, cook just till garlic just turns color
- then add the butter , sliced mushrooms and saute until mushrooms lightly brown
- stir in the sour cream, leaving just a little bit for your potato later on, add the bacon pieces, cover to cook until done
- add the parsley last minute and cracked black pepper, then serve with your favorite veggie and a hot baked potato.
