creamy basil pesto

- 2 cups of cleaned basil leaves shopping list
- 1 clove of garlic shopping list
- 1/8 tsp salt (or to taste) shopping list
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil shopping list
- 1/4 or a bit more grated parmesan cheese shopping list
- 3 tablespoons pine nuts shopping list
How to make it
- blender or food processor
- drop in clove of garlic
- add pine nuts
- some olive oil
- some basil leaves
- more olive oil
- salt
- parmesan cheese
- layer the above (it blends easier)
- start mixer/ processor and blend until creamy (30 seconds or so)
- add a little more olive oil if needed
- remember this freezes well..
