Heloises Generic Cream Soup Base

- 1 cup nonfat dried milk powder or powdered soy milk shopping list
- 1 tablespoon dried onion flakes shopping list
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch or arrowroot powder shopping list
- 2 tablespoons chicken bouillon powder shopping list
- ½ teaspoon dried basil, crushed shopping list
- ½ teaspoon dried thyme, crushed shopping list
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all the ingredients and store in an airtight container
- Soup
- 2 cups cold water
- ½ cup main ingredient (mushrooms, mixed vegetables, cubed chicken, etc.)
- Add the water to the mix in a large saucepan and stir constantly over medium heat until thick. Add the main ingredient of your choice and cook until done. If the soup is too thick, add more water and stir thoroughly over medium heat. Add other seasoning of your choice.
