Kohlrabi au Gratin

- 4 small kohlrabi, thinly sliced shopping list
- 1/2 thinly sliced kohlrabi leaves(set aside) shopping list
- \2 tbsp finely chopped onion shopping list
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan shopping list
- 1/2 cup whipping cream shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp pepper shopping list
- 3 tbsp seasoned fine dry bread crumbs shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350
- Layer half of the slices on bottom of buttered shallow 1 qt casserole dish
- layer with half the onions, 3tbs cheese,half the whipping cream, half the kohlrabi leaves, half the salt and half the pepper(do you sense a pattern here:))
- Repeat(big DUH)
- Top with remaining cheese and bread crumbs
- Bake covered for 30 uncovered for 15
- If you don't know how to select kohlrabi here are a couple of tips!
- Choose the smallest ones you can find, they should be free of cracks and fibers. Leaves should be crisp and green with no yellowing.
