- 4 TBS> sesame seeds shopping list
- 1 tsp. salt shopping list
How to make it
- Toast seeds in a dry skillet until they just begin to color,over low heat. Watch closly for the seeds will burn easily.Shake pan often.
- Remove from heat and put into a coffee grinder food processor or mortar,while still hot,and process to a fine powder.
- add salt and process a short time to let the salt pick up the sesame oil.
- makes 1/4 cup.
- NOTE: do not prepare more than this amount at one time, so the sesame salt stays fresh.
- In Korea this is kept on the table and used like we use salt. It is very good on about anything you put salt on.
