Ingredients

How to make it

  • Toast seeds in a dry skillet until they just begin to color, over low heat. Watch closly for the seeds will burn easily.Shake pan often.
  • Remove from heat and put into a coffee grinder food processor or mortar, while still hot,and process to a fine powder.
  • add salt and process a short time to let the salt pick up the sesame oil.
  • makes 1/4 cup.
  • NOTE: do not prepare more than this amount at one time, so the sesame salt stays fresh.
  • In Korea this is kept on the table and used like we use salt. It is very good on about anything you put salt on.

Reducing Salt is a good thing and this is a great way to add nutrition in its place at the same time.
