How to make it

  • Place the artichoke bottoms on a cookie sheet and preheat the oven to 350. I like to use parchment paper so if anything bubbles over they are easy to remove.
  • Mix the mayonnaise, cheese, juice and zest in a mixing bowl. Stir lightly to blend. Gently add the crab meat, making sure you have no shell at all. Place about 1 tbs of this mixture onto each artichoke bottom and place in the hot oven and bake for about 10 minutes until hot and bubbly. Eat at once.
  • This is elegant enough to serve at any cocktail party or holiday dinner.

I recently received a large bag of extra large artichoke bottoms and your recipe sounds easy and delicious. I'm going to try it out on my next dinner party!

This sounds amazing! You are right, it sounds like artichoke dip with crab. I bet these don't last that long.
