An easy dish to prepare and great during summer or days when you don't feel like cooking at all. Goes very well with some miso soup . Can be served as an appetizer or side dish, or even as a main meal if u feel like having something light.

Ingredients
  • 1 small packet (about 200g) Silken Tofu
  • Soya Sauce (mixed with some Mirin - optional), to taste
  • Fresh grated ginger (about 1 tsp; more if u like it spicy)
  • Seaweed strips
  • Bonito Flakes
  • Spring Onions, chopped

Directions
  1. Drain water from tofu packet and rinse tofu with water. Remove tofu and put in a fancy bowl.
  2. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce (and mirin) and grated ginger together. Pour over tofu.
  3. Garnish with seaweed, bonito & spring onions.
  4. Serve.

Bluewaterandsand: sorry i didn't make it clear. it's a type of japanese dried fish flakes. sometimes used to make dashi (japanese soup stock). hope that clarified your question. :)
