Lavish Creamed Spinach

LAVISH CREAMED SPINACH This is a recipe I obtained from an Estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Tinsley Estate in Venus, Texas in 1987.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter shopping list
- 1/4 cup flour shopping list
- 2-1/2 cups heavy cream shopping list
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg shopping list
- 1 bag fresh spinach washed and stems removed shopping list
How to make it
- Melt butter then add flour and brown slightly.
- Add cream slowly stirring until thick then add cheese and nutmeg.
- Stir until blended then add spinach and continue stirring until spinach melts.
