New Orleans-style Shrimp Recipe
Paired this easy , casual shrimp dish with a colorful Cornbread salad for a simple weekend meal. Add a nice white wine or a bottle of frosty beer. Yum. From a 2007 Cooking Light.

Ingredients
  • 3 T. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 T. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 T. butter, melted
  • 2 t. chopped fresh rosemary
  • 2 t. chopped garlic
  • 1/2 t. dried thyme
  • 1/2 t. Tabasco
  • 1/4 t. freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 t. ground red pepper
  • 2 lbs. unpeeled, raw, large shrimp
  • 2 lemons, sliced into 1/4" slices
  • 4 t. butter, divided

Directions
  1. Combine first 11 ingredients in large zip top bag; mix well. Marinate in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 425.
  3. Tear off 4 large squares of wide aluminum foil and place 1/4 of the shrimp in center of each. Split remaining marinade evenly among packets. Place a pat of butter on each, fold each packet tightly to seal and place on baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes. Peel, eat and enjoy.
