Hot Crab Dip Recipe
This dip can be made ahead for a party then reheated later in the day. I have served this several times and guest really enjoy it.

Ingredients
  • 32 ounces cream cheese
  • 2 sticks butter ( no substitutions)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 lb fresh lump crab meat (check for shells)
  • 1/2 cup pale dry sherry

Directions
  1. Over low hear in saucepan mix the butter and cream cheese until melted and smooth. Add in the garlic powder and gently stir in the crab meat and sherry. Simmer a few minutes until the flavors have time to come together. Place in chafing dish or crock pot on low. Serve with toast points.
