Hot Crab Dip

This dip can be made ahead for a party then reheated later in the day. I have served this several times and guest really enjoy it.
Ingredients
- 32 ounces cream cheese shopping list
- 2 sticks butter ( no substitutions) shopping list
- 1 tsp garlic powder shopping list
- 1 lb fresh lump crab meat (check for shells) shopping list
- 1/2 cup pale dry sherry shopping list
How to make it
- Over low hear in saucepan mix the butter and cream cheese until melted and smooth. Add in the garlic powder and gently stir in the crab meat and sherry. Simmer a few minutes until the flavors have time to come together. Place in chafing dish or crock pot on low. Serve with toast points.
