brie is a very good cheese for warm sandwiches because it melts very smoothly and isnt stringy

Ingredients
  • 4 ounces of brie cheese, cut into 1/4 inch slices
  • 4 french roll, or mini baguettes, split lengthwise, and toasted
  • 6 pieces of bacon cooked and drained
  • 4 tomatoe slices
  • leaf lettuce for each sandwich

Directions
  1. place 1/4 of the cheese on the bottom half of each toasted roll, place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  2. broil 4 to 6 inches from heat for 1 to 2 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  3. top with 2 pieces of bacon each sandwich and 1 tomato slice and lettuce, and top with other half of roll and serve with chips or fries.... or hot tomato soup (..................and your favorite dressing or mayo - optional)
