Walnut Peach Cake Recipe

My 3 year old Grandson wanted cake. I didn't want to deal with frosting so I came up with this cake. It was better than I imagined it would be and everyone enjoyed it!

Ingredients
- 1 yellow cake mix
- 1 package frozen peaches
- 1/3 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup walnut pieces (could use pecans)
- 2 tablespoons butter
Directions
- prepare cake mix as directed on package
- pour batter into 9X13 pan
- arrange peaches over top of batter
- mix brown sugar, walnuts and butter together until crumbles
- sprinkle sugar mixture over peaches.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes

- We served with vanilla ice cream and it was great!

Made it for Granny & Papa...it was a hit! I used pecans and canned peaches (it was all I had). Yum!
