Ingredients

How to make it

  • To make simple syrup: In a saucepan bring sugar and water to a boil, stirring, and boil until sugar is completely dissolved. Let syrup cool and chill, covered.
  • To make tea: Steep tea bags in hot water at least 5 minutes. I usually let them sit in the water as it cool but remove them before I put in the fridge.
  • To make peach puree:Peel, pit, and puree the peaches in a food mill; then strain through a fine sieve.
  • Combine all ingredients, chill and serve.

Most interesting. I will blend the peaches in a blender since we are going to strain it. I will try this with the simple surgar, also great for my Orange Julius drink. I will also try it using Sweet and Low to cut done on the calories. I make ice tea all the time, boil one cup water, steep two bags, two packs of Sweet and Low, then pour over a 32 ounce cup of ice. Add two fresh leaves of MINT. Love your peach tea recipe. Great job. Pictures and prints at 11. JJ
