Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground mustard
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 round soft bread such as sourdough, Italian, French, 1 lb.
  • 1 Tbs. butter
  • 1, 8-oz wheel of brie cheese

Directions
  1. Mix seasonings and set aside.
  2. Cut out a hollow from center of bread and remove bread center to make room for the Brie.
  3. Spread butter on the bread and sprinkle 2 tsp of the seasoning.
  4. With knife make 2 inch cuts at one inch intervals around the bread.
  5. Remove rind from Brie and place into bread.
  6. Sprinkle Brie with the remaining seasonings.
  7. Replace top of bread. Place on baking sheet and bake 350F about 30 minutes.
  8. To serve, remove top of bread and break into bite size pieces.
  9. Dip bread into the hot brie.
