Baked Mac -n- Cheese Recipe Mocha / All my dishes

This recipe is an oldie, but goodie. Passed down by my grandmother and is a crowd pleaser with my family.

Ingredients
  • 1 box of macaroni
  • cubed cheese (have fun with your cheeses!) I use cheddar and colby jack
  • 2 tblspn butter or margerine
  • splash of vanilla
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions
  1. Boil 1 box of macaroni til al dente
  2. rinse pasta and place in a casserole dish
  3. mix butter in pasta til evenly distibuted
  4. pour can milk in dish
  5. pour splash of vanilla, salt and pepper in milk and stir around
  6. place cubed cheese in rows around pasta (as much as you like)
  7. cover dish with lid to dish or foil
  8. place in preheated 350 degree oven and bake for 1/2 hr
  9. take lid off and bake for addtl 5 to 10 min til golden brown
  10. *all ovens vary. look for milk to be absorbed for finished product*
  11. enjoy!!
