Lettuce Salad Recipe

This is another one of my mothers that I havn't tried.

Ingredients
- 1 head of lettuce
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1 pk. frozen peas
- 1 1/2 cups of miracle whip
- Next morning
- 2 large tomatoes sliced on top
- 4 hard boiled eggs sliced on top
- 6 slices of bacon crisp or bacon bits
- grated cheese on top
Directions
- Mix first 5 ingredients and let stand over night. My guess let stand in refrigerator.
- Next morning add the other 4 ingredients.

I have had this and it is wonderful! I just never think about salad until it's time to throw one together. I think this is worth planning for.

Ohhhhhh we call this a "7 layer salad" down here. But we do it all in layers, ending with the MW on top and let it sit for 24 hours before serving. Then the bacon on top of course...right before serving for crispness.
Always use FROZEN peas...so they pop in your mouth and taste fresh! I'm like a huge 7LS expert...lol!
