Ingredients
  • 4 oz. Package of blue cheese, room temperature
  • 8 oz. Package of light cream cheese, room temperature
  • ½ cup of light sour cream
  • 1 bunch of green onions, slivered diagonally, tops included
  • 1 bunch of parsley, chopped fine
  • 6 oz. Of coarsely chopped toasted walnuts
  • Lots of freshly ground black pepper

Directions
  1. Combine cheeses and sour cream until well blended,
  2. Add green onions and walnuts and parsley.
  3. Keep grinding in the black pepper.
  4. You want a lot of it here.
  5. This mixture should be stiff and not runny.
  6. Allow to mellow in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours.
  7. Serve with sliced toasted French bread or something as sturdy and crispy yet not strongly flavored like a Melba toast

I'll try this one even though I'm not sure there's a real "pesto" (olive oil, basil, etc.) in this recipe...interesting title.
