Black Bottom Banana Cream Pie

BLACK BOTTOM BANANA CREAM PIE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Roark Estate in Grand Prairie, Texas in 1984.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 4 squares semisweet chocolate shopping list
- 1 pie crust shopping list
- 2 small bananas sliced shopping list
- 1 small package instant vanilla pudding and pie filling shopping list
- 2 cups cold milk shopping list
- whipped topping for garnish shopping list
How to make it
- In small saucepan over low heat melt butter and chocolate stirring until smooth.
- Spread evenly over bottom of crust then arrange banana slices over chocolate and set aside.
- Prepare pudding according to package directions for pie using milk then pour over bananas.
- Chill at least 1 hour then garnish with whipped topping.
