Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup sifted powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter

Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350*F.
  2. In a medium bowl stir together flour, cocoa powder and baking soda, set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl beat butter and the 1/4 cup peanut butter with an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds.
  4. Add sugars, beat until combined.
  5. Beat in egg, milk and vanilla.
  6. Beat in as much of the flour mixture as you can with the mixer.
  7. Stir in any remaining flour mixture.
  8. Shape into 32 (1/4") balls, set aside.
  9. For each cookie slightly flatten a chocolate ball and top with peanut butter ball.
  10. Shape chocolate dough completely around the filling, roll into a ball.
  11. Place 2" apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Lightly flatten with bottom of a glass dipped in additional sugar.
  12. Bake about 8 minutes or just until set ans slightly cracked.
  13. Cool on cookie sheet for 1 minute.
  14. Transfer to a wire rack, cool.
  15. Makes 32 cookies.
