How to make it

  • Take the cod out of the container and soak it for an hour in cold water, drain and rinse, cubed into 2 inch pieces and set aside.
  • In a large pot place the oil, Onion, potatoes, carrots and celery cook for 6 minutes until onions are tender.
  • Add the water and the milk and bring to a boil lower heat and simmer for twenty minutes.
  • Add all of the rest of the ingredients and simmer for another 10 minutes
