Clam Sauce For Spaghetti Sugo Con Vongole

- 1 Can minced clams shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic shopping list
- 2 Tbsp chopped parsley shopping list
- ½ onion, chopped shopping list
- 2 Tbsp olive oil shopping list
- Splash white wine (optional) shopping list
- 1 15oz can diced Italian tomatoes shopping list
- salt & pepper (to taste) shopping list
- hot pepper (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- Cook garlic & onion in oil until soft
- Add tomatoes, parsley, & wine simmer 40 minutes
- Add clams, juice and all simmer 10 minutes more.
- I tend to cook it down to reduce liquid to a desired consistency,
