FAMILY FAVORITE COMFORT CASSEROLE
This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Smith Estate in Granbury, Texas in 1987.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 large white onion
- 12 ounce can tomato paste
- 16 ounce container cottage cheese
- 16 ounce container sour cream
- 2 packages shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 pound noodles
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Brown beef and onion.
- Cook noodles then add sour cream and cottage cheese.
- In a separate bowl mix meat and tomato paste.
- Layer noodles and meat then put cheddar cheese on top.
- Cover casserole and bake 45 minutes.
