How to make it

  • In electric skillet, saute bacon until crisp; remove and set aside. Saute chicken in bacon drippings until brown on all sides; remove and set aside. Saute onions and garlic in drippings until soft; remove and set aside. Pour off drippings.
  • In same skillet add reserved bacon, veggies, and the remaining ingredients (except pasta) stirring until well-combined. Add chicken, bring sauce to boil, reduce heat to simmer, cover and cook slowly for 1 hour.
  • Cook pasta and drain. Mound pasta on large serving platter, pour sauce over, and arrange the chicken on top. Pass the freshly grated parm!
  • NOTE: To make this gluten-free, use gf linguine or other gf pasta.
