Berry Peachy Cobbler

- 1 pound bag frozen peach slices (use half, see directions) shopping list
- 1 pound bag frozen strawberry-blueberry mixture (use half, see directions) shopping list
- 1 stick butter shopping list
- 1 cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 Tbsp baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 cup whole milk shopping list
- 1 pint good vanilla ice cream shopping list
How to make it
- Put half of each bag of fruit together in a freezer bag for next time.
- Put remaining fruit in refrigerator to thaw a few hours if desired.
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Place butter in 7x11 inch glass baking dish and melt in microwave (about 2 minutes at 50% power.
- Tilt dish to coat entire bottom and as much of the sides as possible with the melted butter.
- Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder and milk in medium bowl.
- Add milk and stir until you have a fairly smooth batter.
- Pour batter over the melted butter in dish. Stir butter in slightly and spread evenly over bottom.
- Arrange peach slices evenly over batter.
- Arrange berry mixture over and around peaches.
- Bake at 400 for about 30 minutes. Depending upon how fast your oven is, it may not take quite as long.
- Remove from oven and serve hot with vanilla ice cream on top of individual servings..
