Pastry Wrapped Salmon Ring Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1, 15 oz can of slamon, drained and deboned
  • 1 1/2 cups soft bread crumbs ( 2 slices white bread or as needed)
  • 2 eggs, fork beaten
  • 1/2 cup fine chopped celery
  • 2 tbs fine chopped onion
  • 1 Tbs fresh lemon juice
  • 1, 8 oz pkg ( 8 ) refrigerated crescent rolls
  • toppings:
  • sour cream
  • chopped chives
  • finely diced tomatoes

Directions
  1. Generously butter a 5 cup oven safe ring mold.
  2. Mix salmon and remaining ingerdients ( except topping s) together to blend well.
  3. Separate crescent rolls into triangles.
  4. Arrange triangles in mold, alternating points and wide ends so dough drapes over center and outer edges of mold.
  5. Pat dough lightly to line mold.
  6. Pack salmon mixture into mold.
  7. Turn over ends of dough to cover slamon.
  8. Press to seal.
  9. Bake in a 375 oven for 30 minutes.
  10. Loosen edges.
  11. Invert carefully onto serving platter.
  12. Serve with sour cream mixed with chives and tomatoes, placing in small dish and place in center ring of mold

Sounds good, mom made something like this once, she could never remember when I asked her about the recipe making it. Not sure this is the same one, but I will give it a try as I really loved it as a child.


I love Salmon so I know this will be delicious!
