Sucky Pie

My nephew named this sucky pie when he was about 13, believe it or not, it's a compliment. Apple, Caramel, Crumble pie
Ingredients
- Frozen pie shell shopping list
- 4 - 5 apples shopping list
- small bag Chewy caramels shopping list
- 1 c brown sugar shopping list
- 1/4 c. flour shopping list
- 1/2 c butter shopping list
- 1 -2 tsp. cinnamon shopping list
- 1/2 c oatmeal shopping list
How to make it
- Peel, core and thinly slice the apples
- Layer in pie shell in the following order
- apples
- sprinkle brown sugar
- sprinkle flour
- dot butter
- caramels
- you should have about 3 layers worth
- combine 1/4 c melted butter, with 1/2 c brown sugar, 2 tbsp flour, and 1/2 cup oatmeal, pack over top of apples
- Bake at 375, on the bottom rack of the oven for 1 hour

I prefer the name Apple, Caramel, Crumble pie however the name Sucky Pie is cute now that I know it was named by a 13 year old. This like a candy apple in a crust. Delicious!
