Ingredients

How to make it

  • Combine biscuit mix, brittle, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg,
  • Cut in butter
  • Mix until crumbly
  • Set aside 2/3 cup mixture
  • To remaining mixture add buttermilk, egg and vanilla
  • Mix & spread in a 9-inch cake pan
  • Bake in 350 degree oven to 30 - 35 minutes

    I got a box of the cashew brittle that Paula Deen hawks as a gift, think I'll try this recipe with that for our girl's weekend! Bet it will be excellent!

    Oh my goodness, OF COURSE I love peanut brittle - it's sweet, isn't it?!? What an unusual way to use it, and it makes just the right size for those times I want a smaller dessert (so I don't eat an entire 9x13 pan of dessert myself!)... this sounds fantastic!
