CODDLED EGGS This is a recipe I obtained from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Crawford Estate in Quinlan, Texas in 1982.

Ingredients
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons cream
  • Seasoning to taste
  • Butter or margarine

Directions
  1. Lightly butter individual baking dishes.
  2. Place an egg into each.
  3. Pour cream over.
  4. Lightly season and bake in moderate oven only until egg is set.
