Ingredients

How to make it

  • Combine all ingredients for dressing in a small jar or plastic container and shake until emulsified...about 2/3 oil and 1/3 other liquids. Set aside.
  • Mix endive and arugula in a medium size bowl with shredded apple.
  • Drizzle lightly with some dressing and toss gently, thoroughly coating each piece.
  • Arrange pear on top and drizzle with about another 1 TBSP dressing.
  • Add blue cheese and finish with fresh cracked pepper.
  • Enjoy!
  • *the reason not to use virgin olive oil is that the flavour is too heavy and wil overpower the light taste of this salad.

    HEAH! PEAR AND GRUYERE CHEESE WITH WHITE WINE ROCK!!! BUT MAKE SURE ITS THE SWEET PEAR, NOT THE REGULAR ONE!!!YOU WILL LOVE THE COMBINATION... THAT IS IF YOU LOVE THAT KIND OF CHEESE!

    Pear/apple and blue cheese - one of my favorite combos, but I don't usually add garlic or sweetener to the dressing and I sprinkle on the blue cheese with a heavy hand. (We usually get the extra stinky stuff.) Something to try with a milder blue!
