Ingredients

1-2/3 cups all purpose flour

3/4 teaspoon baking powder

3/4 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons butter, softened

3/4 cup packed brown sugar

1/3 cup sugar

3/4 teaspoon vanilla(go ahead and make it a full teaspoon!!)

1 egg

3/4 cup toasted coconut (2 oz)

3/4 cup chopped macadamia nuts (3-1/2 oz )

1 package (11-1/2 oz ) milk chocolate chips

Directions

Combine flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and baking soda; set aside.

In medium bowl, beat butter, sugars and vanilla until creamy.

Add egg; mix well.

Gradually add flour mixture.

Stir in coconut, macadamia nuts and chocolate chips

Drop by heaping tablespoons, 3 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake at 375 degrees F for 12 minutes or until lightly browned.

Allow to stand for 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheets.
