Years ago, I ran across this recipe, made it, fell in love with the flavors. I always look forward to "home-grown" tomatoes just for this wonderful pie! Makes a very nice presentation!

Sounds fresh and re-freshing! Nothing like homegrown tomatoes! Sometimes in the morning I will put sliced tomatoes on a slice of sourdough bread, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and pop in the toaster. Thanks!
