Fresh Tomatoes And Swiss Cheese Pie

- 1 9 inch flaky pastry crust (I make mine) shopping list
- Enough fresh sliced tomatoes to cover bottom of crust shopping list
- Enough quality mayonnaise to cover tomatoes shopping list
- fresh basil shopping list
- salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste shopping list
- swiss cheese, shredded or *cheese of your choice* shopping list
- paprika shopping list
- Chopped green onions, optional shopping list
How to make it
- This is so very easy!
- Place unbaked crust in pie pan
- Line unbaked crust with sliced tomatoes
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper
- Sprinkle with fresh basil
- Cover with a layer of mayonnaise, bringing to the edges of crust
- Cover with shredded Swiss Cheese
- Sprinkle with a little paprika
- Bake in a 375 degree oven until edges of crust are lightly browned
- Cheese will be bubbly
- Remove from oven, and you may sprinkle with finely chopped green onions before serving
- Delicious
