Lamb Tagine

- 2 Lbs lamb cut in to 1/2 in. cubes shopping list
- 4 Tbsp olive oil shopping list
- 1/4 tsp ground turmeric shopping list
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin shopping list
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon shopping list
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger shopping list
- 1 Pinch saffron shopping list
- 3/4 tsp ground coriander shopping list
- 1/2 Cup Chopped cilantro shopping list
- 2 Med onions diced in 1 in. cubes shopping list
- 4 carrots peeled and cut lengthwise then sliced on the bias in to 1/2 in pieces shopping list
- 1 Cup Diced dried apricots shopping list
- 5 cloves minced garlic shopping list
- 2 Tbsp fresh grated ginger shopping list
- 1 lemon zested shopping list
- 15 oz. chicken broth shopping list
- 2 1/2 Tbsp Sun Dried tomato Tapenade shopping list
- 2 Tbsp honey shopping list
- cornstarch and water to thicken if needed shopping list
How to make it
- Combine Lamb and the first 9 ingredients together in a large bowl mixing well
- Cover and refrigerate 8 hours or over night
- Heat a large pot to med heat and brown the Lamb
- Add the remaining Ingredients except Cilantro and bring to a boil
- Reduce heat to a simmer and cover stirring occasionally till Lamb is tender 2 hours give or take
- Add Cilantro
