How to make it

  • In a saucepan combine the butter, heavy cream and cream cheese.
  • Simmer until all is melted and mixed well.
  • Add the Parmesan cheese and garlic powder.
  • Simmer for 15 - 20 minutes on low.

    This was really good I used a garlic butter stick instead of garlic powder and also added finely chopped jalapeno peppers to give that extra kick.. Now a family fave! thanks for sharing!

    This sound great!!! I can't wait to make this! I love alfredo sauce but have not fond one that I am extremely fond of..from the can, I guess it will be best to make it. Thanks for sharing this simple recipe with us!

    This sounds sooo good. Very similar to my own recipe for Alfredo Sauce. i know yours must be yummy also. The only thing i really do different is i do a reduction of wine and minced garlic vs the garlic powder and at the end i add a little nutmeg..
    I love anything rich, fattening and cheesy..
