Shrimp De Jonghe

- 1 1/2 tbs butter(reall butter) shopping list
- 1/2 tbs allpurpose flour shopping list
- 3/4 cup half and half,scalded shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 1/2 lbs shrimp,cooked,shelled and deveined shopping list
- garlic salt shopping list
- 1 cup real butter melted shopping list
- 1/4 cup finely chopped chives shopping list
How to make it
- Put 1 1/2 tablespoons butter in a saucepan and mix in the flour,
- scald the half and half and add,stirring constantly
- cook until thickened,add salt
- put shrimp in buttered ramekin dishes,individual shells or shallow baking dish of your choice
- pour sauceover shrimp mixture,then dribble melted butter over this
- sprinkle with chopped chives.bake at 375 until hot and bubbly,about 10 to 12 min
- place under the broiler to lightly brown top,
- serve immediately
