Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 tbs butter(reall butter)
  • 1/2 tbs allpurpose flour
  • 3/4 cup half and half,scalded
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 lbs shrimp,cooked,shelled and deveined
  • garlic salt
  • 1 cup real butter melted
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped chives

Directions
  1. Put 1 1/2 tablespoons butter in a saucepan and mix in the flour,
  2. scald the half and half and add,stirring constantly
  3. cook until thickened,add salt
  4. put shrimp in buttered ramekin dishes,individual shells or shallow baking dish of your choice
  5. pour sauceover shrimp mixture,then dribble melted butter over this
  6. sprinkle with chopped chives.bake at 375 until hot and bubbly,about 10 to 12 min
  7. place under the broiler to lightly brown top,
  8. serve immediately
