How to make it

  • Mix Tahini paste with vinegar. This will turn into a thick clumpy paste.
  • Add 1/2 a cup of water and mix until smooth. If it needs more water go for it. This should not be runny though.
  • Mix in the Garlic and rest of the ingredients.
  • Adjust spices to your taste.
  • Sprinkle the olive oil over the top and dust lightly with cayenne or top with fresh parsley.
  • Enjoy as a dip with pita or a side to seafood or kofta recipe.

    If you go into the ethnic food aisle in your grocery store you should find it there. If not then any specialty ethnic food store should carry it. I get it from a local arabic grocer in my neighborhood.
