Put vanilla soft serve on the top of this and make a root beer cake float!

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1 Tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2/3 cup A&W Root Beer
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
- Blend at low speed, then beat 3 minutes at medium speed.
- Pour into a greased & floured 12x8 inch baking pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Icing:
- 1 lb. powdered sugar
- Chilled A&W Root Beer (as needed to make a thick icing)
- Combine in mixer bowl & blend well. Beat till thick & fluffy.
