Beer Batter Fish Recipe

Ingredients
  • vegetable oil
  • 1 lb. fish fillets or large shrimp
  • 3 to 4 tbsp. Bisquick
  • 1 cup Bisquick
  • 1/2 cup beer
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg

Directions
  1. Heat oil.
  2. Coat fish with 3 to 4 tbsp of the Bisquick
  3. Mix remaining ingredients until smooth. If batter is too thick, stir in additional beer, 1 tbsp at a time. Dip fish into batter, fry until golden brown, about 2 minutes on each side. Drain on paper towel.
