This recipe was in a church cookbook. Kinda like a spicy cut-out cookie. The picture is a Moravian star.

Apologies....the flour is plain-all purpose flour. Thanks for asking!

The Moravian Church had a booth in the 'Village of Yesteryear' craft building at the NC State Fair in Raleigh for years. We LOVED buying from them ~ I believe you could read the Lord's Prayer through them, they were so thin ~ and crispy, my favorite kind! They had vanilla, lemon, cinnamon, and chocolate! I wonder if this is the cinnamon version of the basic recipe. You KNOW what I'm thinking! ;o) Will let you know! I'm SOO GLAD that you shared this one! Blessings, deb

Hey, I just saw this ~ I'm assuming that because these yumms are so THIN that the flour is all-purpose and NOT self-rising. Is that right? d
